Hoodie horse

Jack insisted on being a white horse for his friend's Halloween in June birthday party today. So I made one out of a hoodie from target. He actually likes it, pretty surprising.

Spoiling ourselves silly

Jack and I decided to treat ourselves like royalty this morning while John's playing in a golf tourney.




First, delicious hot doughnuts from krispy kreme.




Followed by pedicures. Jack's first. He loved it! Don't worry, he skipped the polish. Wasn't interested in the "girl colors".

Summertime summed up in one photo

Jack and his buddy, Christine, had a great Sunday at the pool. Wouldn't be summer without a Popsicle to top off a great day in the sun.

Us

Rarely are pictures taken of John or me. Camera loves Jack better for obvious reasons. But Jack wasn't at our friend's birthday party, so they settled for us.

Jack and the beans...

Jack has been watching the plants eagerly for something to happen. Today he was thrilled that someone was ready to pick -- green beans! Served with some delicious corn & cheese nuggets and a side of watermelon.
